The New Abraham Lincoln Book Award Nominees!

So I know just a few weeks ago I was blogging about the 2014 Abraham Lincoln Award winner, but that only means that the new list is out and I can gush about the awesomeness that is the 2015 nominee list!!

If you aren't familiar with the Abraham Lincoln Award, check out their website HERE.   Each year, they release a list of 22 nominee titles that have been picked by a panel of teachers, librarians, and STUDENTS!

So you may be thinking that 2015 is a typo, but really it's the nominee list for NEXT year!  Remember, I just announced the winner for 2014 a few weeks ago... :)

We own at least 1 copy of ALL of these books, several in the case of the really popular titles, plus there are more copies on their way as I type this.  We even have audio books on CD and Playaways where they are available!  They are all on a special display in the Teen Area, so you don't have to hunt for them!  Not sure where to look??  Just ask a Librarian!

Did I mention that I LOVED the list this year???  It is filled with either books I've read and loved, or books that were on my to read list!  Now I have a great excuse to read them all!  So get in today to get a head start on the 2015 Abraham Lincoln Award Nominees this year.  If you read at least four of them, then you will be eligible to vote for your favorite (LPHS always does the voting!) to be the big winner next February.
